What is a CapMap Case?
It is a new 3D study that is successfully completed and activated, captured in the app or imported as USDZ. Registering a patient does not consume a Case. Failures, cancellations and repeated uploads of the same study do not consume an additional Case. Reopening, measuring, editing or generating reports does not consume another Case either, as long as you keep working on the same study without creating a new 3D study.
Do Cases expire?
No. Unused Cases remain available, including after 12 months.
Where is CapMap available?
The iPhone app is in preparation. The Portal is restricted to authorised professionals.
Does CapMap replace medical judgement?
No. CapMap supports measurement, planning, documentation and visualisation. Clinical decisions remain entirely the professional's responsibility.
Does CapMap guarantee the surgical outcome?
No. The 3D view presents the plan and does not guarantee the surgical outcome.
